Whilst we're lucky enough not to have as many dogs to re-home as some other breeds (partly due to the success of our puppy waiting list), we do occasionally have Wheatens who need a new home.
The club keeps a register of people who are looking to re-home a Wheaten and the re-home co-ordinator tries to match up the dogs' needs as best as possible with the prospective new owners circumstances.
There are many reasons why a Wheaten might need to be re-homed - it could be due to the owners changed circumstances, i.e. marital break-up, prolonged working hours, ill health or occasionally we might be asked to help re-home a dog with problems.
At present we're particularly looking for prospective owners who don't have other pets or children. Click here to see details of any available dogs.
If you would like to apply to re-home a Wheaten, please download the re-homing application form:
Once you have downloaded the form, please print it out and return it to the address at the top of the page on the form.
For more information, please contact our re-home co-ordinator.
The Club's rescue fund is in place to help pay for any expenses (eg. kennelling, fostering, vets, transport etc.) that may be incurred when trying to re-home a Wheaten.
The fund relies entirely on donations
If you would like to make a donation, simply use the PayPal 'Donate' button below.
You don't have to have a PayPal account to donate; the PayPal page offers the option of using a credit or debit card if you prefer.
Thank you so much, it really does help.
