Platinum Anniversary Party in the Park

To celebrate the 70th Anniversary of the Soft-Coated Wheaten Terrier Club of GB, on Sunday, 8th June 2025, the Club will be holding a special Platinum Party In The Park for Wheatens and their families.
The venue for this special celebration will be Polesworth Memorial Hall, 20 Bridge Street, Polesworth, Tamworth B78 1DT.

WHAT’S ON
- Puppy, rehome and veteran parades.
- Novelty classes, including Cheese and Cracker, Sausage races and Best Six legs amongst other fun events, with lots of Platinum Rosettes for participants to take home.
- Try your hand at our introductions to Showing, Junior Handling, Agility and Rally.
- Have your picture taken with your human in our special Platinum area – and make sure they remember to tag us on their socials.
- Help us eat our special birthday cake, enjoy our platinum themed food, and don’t forget to buy a pup-cake for your Wheaten friends to celebrate too.
- For our 18s and under, why not take part in some Wheaten themed colouring on the day or take it home to do later; and remember to bring along your drawings of your favourite Wheaten for judging and platinum prizes. The age categories are: –

– 11-18 years - Enjoy some retail therapy with our club shop, where you can check out our Platinum merchandise with many items not available via our on line shop. There will also be other stall holders there on the day (details to be announced soon).
Entry £5 per family for club members, £10 for non-members (For non-members this charge is reduced to £5 if you join the Club on the day) – and the entry fee will include all events.
